This is just a small sample of my work as well as some profiles of present and past clients. Some of what you find here includes live links to recent content I’ve written with a little background on each.

MOHEGAN SUN: Optimized Web Copy, Collateral Copy, Radio Copy

Once upon a time, I was the in-house copywriter at the second-largest casino in the U.S. - Mohegan Sun. And while the casino had ad agencies to write the copy for projects that had a broad scope, it was my job to write content for mohegansun.com, print ads, radio spots, press releases, brochures and other collateral pieces, signage and more. Talk about a training ground – I also acted as an in-house production liaison when the casino shot their commercials. I also wrote the content for Mohegan Sun’s arena policies page and the casino’s general property brochure. I’ve also done freelance work for the casino on occasion.

UPTIME DEVICES: Blog Copy, Optimized Press Releases

Uptime Devices sells electronic monitoring devices conditions within a server room – or any room for that matter. When the temperature gets to high, or the air gets too moist, the company’s devices will send a text message or email alert to the right people. Speaking of the right people, Uptime Devices came to me when they needed a copywriter to write press releases and blog posts to promote their products.

CONDO HOTEL CENTER: Optimized Web Copy, Reports, Email Copy

Condo Hotel Center is THE leader in online condo hotel sales. One look at their site, and you’ll see that Condo Hotel Center understands the importance of content. That’s why Condo Hotel Center has been contracting me since early 2007 to produce web content for their family of websites including property listings, information pages, FAQ and articles. I even wrote all the content for their Central America Condo Hotel website. Trump, DAMAC, Ginn, Westin and other top brands in the condo hotel and real estate industry. INTEGRITY SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS: Optimized Web Copy

Three major audiences, one technology support company to make IT dreams a reality. Integrity Systems and Solutions, LLC lives up to its name every day by providing the vision and the technology it takes to make medical offices and small business more efficient. They came to me for some optimized website copy. After doing initial keyword research and some consultation on exactly what they wanted to gain with their new online presence, I wrote the copy that fills the pages of their website.

EJANE.COM: Web Copy and Blog Posts

When you contract me to blog, you don’t just get a bunch of random posts. eJane came to me with some very simple, yet important goals – to build a blog about travel nursing that had strong linking, solid SEO content and a following that would allow for a favorable new product launch. From helpful products for life on the road as a travel nurse, to important issues that face the U.S. healthcare industry, I’ve researched, studied and carefully written every post. On top of that, I was hired by eJane to write web content for web pages, landing pages, collateral and print ads. I also consulted with them on their social media efforts.

TN NURSERY: Optimized Web Copy, Press Releases, Article Marketing, E-commerce Product Descriptions, Blog Posts

Starting with a lot of keyword research, I began building TN Nursery’s content empire one site at a time. I say “empire” because, at one point, TN Nursery had me writing web copy for five sites* that sold a variety of wholesale nursery products. Once all the web copy was in place, the client had me write press releases to announce sales, re-designed sites and new product additions. I was also responsible for some of TN Nursery’s article marketing efforts and hundreds upon hundreds of product descriptions.

*Since my time on the project, TN Nursery has consolidated its sites into one and had their design agency “refine” the web content. I can show you the web content I wrote if you request it.

CT HOMES, LLC: Ebook Copy

Maybe you know CT Homes LLC from A&E’s Flip This House, or maybe you know them as some of the finest (and best dressed) real estate professionals in the greater New Haven, CT area. Regardless, Than Merrill and the CT Homes agents are entrepreneurs at heart. I edited a 250-page ebook for them on the subject of flipping houses. Since they sell the book, I obviously can’t let you download it here to see my work, but I can tell you the book was a great asset to my experience as a real estate copywriter.

CAT ON THE COUCH PRODUCTIONS: Web Copy

A virtual creative agency. The perfect client for a virtual web copywriter like me. This project was to write copy for their website – including titles and meta descriptions – as well as create little bits of copy to help frame portfolio pieces. ZULU JOBS: Optimized Web Copy, Press Releases, Twitter/Facebook Management

Ok, I own ZuluJobs.com, but I take the North Carolina jobs site and blog just as seriously as any client project. I’ve taken a keen interest in passive income, and a job board seemed like a good fit for using my web copywriting and keyword research skills to make money online. Also, it fills my need to look at full-time gigs, but not apply for them…since I really like my life as a freelance web copywriter.
