When I teach seminars about content at the local community college, I’m typically asked a series (or some variation thereof) questions about content.
Questions like:
What is content?
Where do I get content?
Do I have to write it myself?
How will people find my content?
How do search engines rank my content?
I’m the first to admit that teaching these seminars has opened my eyes to a new truth in the world of small business websites: Only a small minority of small and micro-business owners understand the power of the web and the importance content plays in their online presence.
So over the coming weeks, I’m going to taking a back-to-basics approach to content.
